What do marshmallows, clouds, bunnies and cotton balls have in common!
Soft, fluffy, and cuddly just like the NEW Stylecraft Cosy Delights.
You may remember that last year I did a little write up on the Stylecraft Cosy, A little knitted scarf project, a soft fluffy gradual color changing yarn with a metallic thread running through for that touch of sparkle. Now Stylecraft have come out with it’s sister yarn Cosy Delights!
When Stylecraft announced the new release, I jump on the chance to work with it again. I presumed I would knit something but when I received my bundles of squishy fluffiness, I knew I would have to try hooking with it and I am so glad I did.
This yarn is so soft and fluffy I wanted to wrap myself up in it, musing ahead to the cold days of winter I knew exactly what I wanted to make.
Aisling is a beret to keep you cosy on the upcoming autumn and winter months. Yes poppets it is almost time for pumpkins, warm cider and festivals! So standout in the crowd with this stylish slouch beanie. All you need is 1 balls of Cosy delights and a 5.5mm hook.
What’s it like?
Think Mohair but thicker. A silk-like yarn with a high luster and sheen, the long fiber halo gives to its soft fluffy feel. Cosy Delight is a chunky yarn on a 100g donut. Complementing the popular Cosy yarn, Cosy Delight is manufactured using the same air jet process that gives the yarn its light, fluffy feel. Impressive meterage at 240yds/220m. A Delightfully cosy yarn for the chilliest of winter days.

From soft Nordic White to rich Winter Plum, The Reindeer looks like spun silver and Artic rose has a warm radiance about it.
This is not your typical yarn, it is light and delicate and needs to be treated so.
The ply is not twisted as you may be used to in your regular yarns. The air jet process is what gives to it fluffiness.
Surprisingly even with its soft fluffiness it’s still holds its stitch definition.
I have so many plans for Cosy Delights. I definitely need a super long scarf and I’m thinking a poncho. I am already planning to gift many of my relatives Christmas gifts made with Cosy Delight!
