The Floralia blanket is suitable for everyone from the adventurous beginner to the expert crocheter. The free pattern, which will be in eight weekly parts, will be posted here on the Pippin Poppycock website and in the Pippin Crochet Club on Facebook.
Fellow Blogstar, Helen Shrimpton from Crystals and Crochet has recorded a full set of video tutorials which will appear on Helen’s YouTube channel when the CAL launches on 1st July.
Team Pippin came up with 4 colorways all using Styelcraft Special DK. You can find all the materials and colorways details here.
At Pippin we allow yarn freedom, meaning you can substitute colors and come up with your own special Floralia in fact we like to encourage, I love seeing your creativity. We also understand that sometimes our available options in yarn brands is dependent on many factors, so just because you cant get your hands on my kits or the brand of yarn I recommend doesn’t mean you can’t take part in the crochet along. You may want to go diving into your stash or running out to your local yarn store and picking up whats local to you.
Regardless of the yarn or colors you choose to use you are always welcome to share your work with us in the Pippin Crochet Club.
