Rambling Roses Shawl – Part Two

Red is the rose that in yonder garden grows
Fair is the lily of the valley
Clear is the water that flows from the Boyne
But my love is fairer than any.

You all did a excellent job last with last weeks journey. You can now put away your main body of the shawl as you wont be needing it again until week 4.

Week Two – Rambling Roses Shawl

This week we are creating a bouquet of roses, 17 in total. I created the roses to be worked as one continuous piece, no ends again 🙂 Just your starting tail and ending tail.

Pay attention to the stitch placement when you create your foundation chains for the petals. You will be working into the back twist not the back post. But we have it covered with photos and plus the videos by Stephanie over at It’s Crochet O’clock.

If you chose to use beads you will be using them in this weeks installment.
