AMOR Knit Along

If you have been following me for a while now, you may have noticed that every Fall I try a new garment knit pattern in the effort to further my knitting skills and techniques.

Last year it was the Bellissma Jumper and the year before it was the Holiday Sweater, I love both and they both get plenty of wear in the fall and winter months.

This year with all the craziness I was going to pass but then the lovely Sarah M. (Pippin Knit Club member) brought to my attention the beautiful Amor Cardigan pattern, a pattern that not only has one of my favorite stitches the Moss Stitch but also a a gorgeous cable panel. Cables are currently on my hit list to accomplish.

So its my pleasure to introduce to you to the AMOR Cardigan, the New Pippin Knit Along.

The Amor Cardigan is a free pattern by Stylecraft Yarns using their lovely new yarn Amor.

Amor is an Aran weight yarn (40% Superwash wool and 60% Acrylic), each 100g donut ball has a whooping 240 meters (262 yards) and comes in 5 shades Berry, Pebble. Meadow, Dusk and Heather.

The full pattern is now available to download for free on the Stylecraft Yarn website

I will be posting my progress, tip, tricks and I’m sure I’ll make few errors but with the help of the Pippin Knit Group like with previous years we can all work together and create something beautiful for our fall wardrobes.

I have gone with the lovely seasonal pebble colorway and hopefully it wont take to long to make its way over the pond to me.

Feel like joining in on the journey? Grab your needles and meet me over in the Pippin Knit Club for help, encouragement or just a good ole chit chat.

Love Emma May xoxox
