Hello, Knitting, Stylecraft Yarn, Yarn Review

Yarn Review: Cosy

Give someone the warm and fuzzies this holiday season with this super quick, super easy and super cosy scarf.

Its about the yarn, I love it when the yarn does most the work for you. Stylecraft Cosy yarn does all the work for you. I honestly wasn’t sure about this yarn, I worried the matallic thread would be rough against my skin. But oh my that was not the case, Stylecraft Cosy is super soft and the meterage is amazing, BIG squishy balls of softness like being on Cloud Nine. The change in color is so gradual you hardly notice it, which gets a BIG thumps up from me. I recommend knitting with this yarn rather than crochet. I tried to crochet with it but I just didn’t like the effect it was giving.  On the ball band you get all your usual yarn info (listed below) but you also get a bonus pattern. A lovely beanie pattern.

Cloud Nine 4
For a super easy scarf  plus the beanie you will need:
2 balls of Stylecraft Cosy in Dawn or any other colorway of your choosing, 7mm Knitting needles for the scarf, 6mm and 5.5mm for the beanie thats it.

For the scarf I casted on 30 stitches and knitted away,  yep that’s right! You just knit each row back and forth.

I told you it was super quick and easy.

For the beanie just follow the instructions on the yarn band.
