Spring Shawl

Spring is almost here, but there’s still a chill in the air and what better way to keep you warm! Crochet yourself a quick and beautiful shawl.

20160402_104439_resizedThe Virus Shawl.. I think it got its name from the fact that it just keeps on growing and spreading until you finally give yourself a “wake up” shot and stop!

There are some amazing variations of colors out there just check out google images.

I used 220grams of fingering/lace yarn (#3) and a 2mm hook.

Now take a deep breath! This is the pattern diagram.. and yes its looks like aliens have landed and left us scrambling to learn their language. Fear not and keep reading!

My shawl worked up nice and quick, in fact it took me a couple of evenings. I gave myself the “wake up” shot and finished it with a simple granny stripe boarder.
