In 2017 you saw me make my Short V Stitch temperature blanket and I have to say it was an experience, a year long project comes with its challenges.. at first I was excited, then I was worried, then I was fatigued, when I was excited again and then worried, But working 30+ rows at the end of each month is not that bad.
This year (2018) I decided not to do a temperature blanket but a temperature scarf; a super long scarf like what Dr Who wears.
The Colors10 Stylecraft Special DK colors from cool Sherbet to hot lipstick. I recorded the highest temperature each day and that determined the color I used. The Stitch
Back to Front Post Stitch
DK – 4mm
Ch – Chain
DC – Double Crochet
Fpdc – Front Post Double Crochet
Bpdc – BackPost Double Crochet
Chain 53
Row 1 : dc in 4th chain form hook (skipped 3 chains counts as 1st dc). dc in each chain to end. = 51 dc Turn
Row 2: Ch 2 (count as starting hdc). *fpdc around next, bpdc around next* Repeat to 2 last stitches, fpdc in next, hdc in last stitch. Turn = 2 hdc, 25 fpdc, 24 bpdc
Repeat Row 2 for pattern and texture, scarf should measure approx 10” wide
