Crochet, Hello

2018 in color – Temperature Scarf

In 2017 you saw me make my Short V Stitch temperature blanket and I have to say it was an experience, a year long project comes with its challenges.. at first I was excited, then I was worried, then I was fatigued, when I was excited again and then worried, But working 30+ rows at the end of each month is not that bad.

This year (2018) I decided not to do a temperature blanket but a temperature scarf; a super long scarf like what Dr Who wears.

The Colors
10 Stylecraft Special DK colors from cool Sherbet to hot lipstick. I recorded the highest temperature each day and that determined the color I used.

The Stitch

09A502C0-0084-4A83-A45C-E00D92071F0FBack to Front Post Stitch

Fpdc – Front Post Double Crochet
Bpdc – BackPost Double Crochet

Row 2: Ch 2 (count as starting hdc). *fpdc around next, bpdc around next* Repeat to 2 last stitches, fpdc in next, hdc in last stitch. Turn = 2 hdc, 25 fpdc, 24 bpdc

Repeat Row 2 for pattern and texture, scarf should measure approx 10” wide
