2018 saw many changes for me, I went back to work full time, we got a playful new puppy and my daughter started pre-school all of which is great news, it’s progress to the future we have planned. But all these great life changes meant one thing.. Less time to crochet, the balancing act is real.
I have yarn on top of yarn, wips on top of wips. I just cannot help myself. I have a problem, but it is a good problem to have if you ask me, but if you ask my husband Josh, he would disagree. Even though I have less time to crochet, I was still buying yarn like a crazy women. Therefore, I have placed myself on a self-imposed yarn-buying ban, 2019 will be the year I try to use up my stash.
As Emma instructed I went snooping around my pattern collection to find a project that has been on never ending to do list. The one that stood out to me was “A day at the Grand Bazaar by Polly Plum” I have never worked with any of Polly’s patterns this will be my first. Its kind off ironic that I would choose a project named after a market famous for its tapestries and crafts and yet putting myself on a yarn ban.
